About the Banach NAWA Programme

The Banach NAWA Programme was created to support the education and professional development of citizens from selected developing countries. It allows successful applicants to study at universities supervised by Poland’s Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Students can pursue eligible full-time Master’s programmes taught in English or Polish. Candidates following the Polish-language route may also receive funding for a one-year preparatory course before beginning their degree.

The scholarship does not automatically provide admission to a university. Applicants must separately apply to their selected Polish university and satisfy its academic admission requirements.

Financial Benefits

Students selected for the Banach NAWA Scholarship 2026 can receive the following benefits:

  • A monthly scholarship of PLN 2,500 during the standard study period
  • Full exemption from tuition fees at participating Polish public universities
  • A one-time travel allowance of PLN 2,500
  • Funding for a preparatory Polish-language course, when applicable
  • The opportunity to study in English or Polish
  • Access to Polish language and cultural activities for students studying in English

Applicants should remember that benefits and payment conditions may change between application rounds. Always read the regulations published for the relevant intake.
